How it works
1) Quick call/text (or email)
Tell us what you’re thinking—refinishing, installing, repairs, borders/inlays, or just exploring options. We’ll ask a few quick questions so we can come prepared.
2) On-site visit + measurements
John comes out in person to look at the floor, measure, and talk through the best approach. If it’s a refinish, we’ll discuss things like:
- current condition + any repairs needed
- stain vs natural
- oil vs water-based finish
- expectations for dust control and protection
- timeline and how to prep the space
3) Clear estimate + plan
You’ll get a straightforward estimate with the scope of work and what’s included. We’ll confirm scheduling so you know what to expect before we start.
4) Prep & protection
We take your home seriously. Before work begins we’ll confirm:
- furniture / room access plan
- protection for nearby areas
- where equipment will be staged
- how we’ll keep the jobsite clean and safe
5) The work (craftsmanship + attention to detail)
Whether it’s an install, refinish, or repair, we treat every job the same:
- do it right
- communicate clearly
- keep the space as clean as possible
- make sure the finished floor looks great (not just “good enough”)
6) Final walkthrough + care tips
When we’re done, we’ll walk the job with you, address any final punchlist items, and share simple care tips so your floor stays beautiful for years.
